Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been putting stuff on here. And part of the reason is preparation for an internship I’m doing with a nearby cultural center. In addition to my normal internship duties, for 4 weeks during the summer I’ll be teaching a cartooning class at the center on Fridays. This is the flier to advertise the class.

I went home for Easter this weekend and took a spontaneous trip to the local Wal-Mart. Somehow, this product placement doesn’t surprise me one bit.
Oh my God…life is really starting to catch up with me. I haven’t really had time to do any work outside of school work, but here’s some WIP pics. From left to right we have a Litho plate, pieces for a new painting project, and the wax cast of that clay head from a few posts ago. Despite the lack of time, things have been pretty awesome lately in the general life area. :)

Just a few pieces for a project I’m working on, with my Xacto knife to scale. It’s fun, but I have to take a lot of breaks for my neck and hands. Especially when I was cutting all the little root bits out of the building.
Scary weather generates a need to sleep downstairs and an excuse for my roommates and I to build the best blanket fort in the universe!
Whoa! Postin’ to Tumblr! This is the self portrait I’m working on for my Modeling and Moldmaking class. The end product will be cast in iron and I think it will make a fabulous candy dish, especially for Halloween!
